Last Thursday R and I we're invited to cook at the increasingly popular Elmore Jam popup/supperclub in Islington. We'd like to give a big shout-out to Nick for playing the part of the big, cheerful host and the rest of the guys who make this such a special place to be for any upcoming chef...
The food was not the highlight of the show at this event (I hear your gasps of surprise!) however that did not mean it played second fiddle. Nick and his team (shout-outs to Aleks, Ro, Zeb and the Jazz Band) create and curate a unique supperclub experience in what was formally Nick's lounge. His vision is to combine his two passions - music and food, to create something secret, unique and just really damn cool.
Check out R.'s video above, if you haven't already, to get a glimpse into what to expect if you book tickets for one of the Elmore Jam's events (they only run every Thursday, currently, so there is super limited availability). All I will leave you with is this if you like live jazz, great food, old jukeboxes and crazy stories book a ticket soon. Sorry you missed out on our event, arguably it had the best food, however I'm told Nick is hand selecting the pop-ups coming in to have the best food possible. Watch out for Salt & Pepper, we may be back! (Seriously, you need to watch the video).
The Elmore Jam are now taking bookings for their upcoming supperclubs via their GrubClub page: Book Here (tell them hi from us when you book!).
